Arc TrueDEK Classic8 Shower Bases
The TrueDEK Classic8 baseline of preformed, pre-sloped shower foundations has a rotating plate that allows for easy drain position changes. You can adjust the plate to position the drain at the center of your shower or turn it so the drain misses a joist.

- All Classic8 models share the same strength, structural, and installation characteristics with the proven TrueDEK Classic line of shower foundations
- Made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic
- Precisely pre-sloped for swift, dependable drainage
- As with all ARC shower formers, Classic8 models are structural while measuring only 7/8" thick, so they can span joists and easily fit in alongside typical underlayment materials for tile or vinyl flooring without altering joists
- Cut to desired size or shape with standard tools as long as cuts are 6" or more from the drain plate
- Supports 840 lbs. when installed on 16" on-center joist systems
- Cover with tile, stone, or commercial-grade, weldable vinyl
- Eight-sided, rotatable drain plate with center hole for drain installation
- Drain hole diameter measures 6-1/4"
- Gradients are 1% per foot or greater—varies due to the length of the pitch
- Curb-free showers are safer, and the results are impressively good-looking
- Pathway to the drain is continuously sloped and uninterrupted to avoid any possibility of a leak
- The underside of the foundation is ribbed for strength while reducing weight
- The perimeter has a leveling rim with pre-bored, countersunk pilot holes, which makes leveling easy
- Install on 2× wood joists, truss joists, TJI joists, or concrete
- It can only be used with ARC TrueDEK drains
