Husqvarna K770 14" Cut-Off Saw Bundle

Husqvarna has released the new and improved K770 which replaces the popular K760 model. The K770 is equipped with semi-automatic SmartTension system that allows for optimal power transmission, minimum wear and maximum belt life. This dependable cut-off saw works great for a variety of cutting applications such as curbstones and pavers in landscaping, metal/pipes in installation work, concrete in buildings as well as roadwork applications with the trolley accessory.

 

K770 Features

  • Superior power-to-weight ratio while being light, compact, and powerful
  • Semi-automatic SmartTension lowers risk of under-and-over tensioning
  • Newly designed cast magnesium crankcase has a three bolt joint to attach the cutting head, making higher torsional rigidity than the previous two-bolt set up
  • Strong poly-V belt with maintenance-free DuraStarter and new efficient Active Air Filtration system ensures long usage intervals
  • Clutch cooling fan lowers operating temperature inside the belt cover extending the service life for the transmission components, including the drive belt
  • DEX, dust suppression system, makes it easy to ensure dust is reduced while minimizing water consumption and slurry

A great 14" saw. Easy to use, reliable

As a plumber in Florida, I sometimes have to cut/excavate concrete to change or upgrade piping under the slab. Got tired of the expense and inconvenience of renting, so I decided to buy a saw. Always liked the Makitas that I rented. Wanted the 16" saw and no one had them. Called a local dealer who told me Makita was dumping gas saws and going battery!! When looking at other gas saws, I noticed the price of 16" or larger was much more money than the 14". I'm not cheap when it comes to tools, but I took a chance on this reasonably priced and popular 14" Husqvarna. Glad I did; works great, easy to use and the 14" gets me deep enough to that I get a clean break with my large demo hammer after the saw cut. I'm sure I could keep this saw 10 years and sell it for $500 no problem. No more renting! Great saw at a great price.
