QEP Natural Cork Underlayment 6 mm Roll
QEP's Natural Cork Underlayment is an outstanding sound barrier for all types of flooring. Besides being an environmentally friendly option, cork is also a healthy choice. It's naturally hypoallergenic, as well as mold and mildew resistant.
Features
- For use beneath ceramic tile, stone, marble, glued wood flooring, and floating floor systems
- It acts as a crack isolation membrane, resisting the transfer of stress cracks up to 1/8" from the subfloor to the flooring surfaces
- It absorbs sound and reduces its transmission from the floor's surface to the living space below
- Reduces thermal transmission, improving the efficiency of floor heating systems
- Simple to install in both glue-down and loose-lay configurations
- The 100-square-foot roll measures 4 feet by 25 feet by 1/4 inch (6 millimeters)
- 74 IIC and 70 STC when installed under ceramic tile on a 6-inch cement slab, with a 22 Delta sound rating
