Rubi Cyclone Leveling System 3/16" (5mm) Flat Bases

Rubi's new leveling system is designed to avoid lippage while laying ceramic tile in both floor and wall tiles.

Technical Data

• Use on most tile and stone from 3 - 18 mm (1/8" - 3/4") thick

How to use

• STEP 1: Place spacer bases under tile once thinset has been applied
• STEP 2: Apply Cap. The cap will align with the top of the base, allowing for easy threading
• STEP 3: Spin the cap onto the base and once the cap makes contact with the tile, turn the cap until the adjacent tiles are level, no need to over-tighten
• STEP 4: After the thinset has cured break off caps and bases. It’s important to break the cyclone caps by kicking them or hitting them with a rubber mallet, in the direction of the grout joint
• STEP 5: Remove the broken bases from caps by unscrewing them (caps are reusable and will last multiple jobs with proper installation and removal)
