Will this cut glass tile and mosaic?

This tile cutter is not recommended for cutting glass tile or mosaics.

How does this cutter do when working with smaller (3" x 6" ) subway tiles? Do you get a good clean cut that is visible when installed?

If you use an 8 mm scoring wheel, you could cut 3" x 6" subway tile with a clean finish, however, it is recommended to use a different tile cutter for subway tile such as the Rubi Speed Magnet series tile cutters.

Is the rip gauge cm or inches?

The rip guide has both standard and metric measurement markings

Does this come with a carrying case?

Cutting board

I have two other ruby cutting boards that work awesome this one looks like it’s gonna work excellent haven’t had a chance to use it yet I’m waiting for my job to be ready but I know it will work awesome quality cutting board

Almost replaces a wet saw

These are amazing. I now own the 1020 and 1300. I will be replacing all of our older Rubi TX cutters with these. There is no comparison. You can easily cut anything from mosaic to super large and super thick tile on these things. The extreme cutting wheel that comes with these is also amazing. I think it has ball bearings! Dealing with the large size and awkwardness is rewarded with cuts that are performed with little effort and the best results that I have seen in 33 years of tile work.
